Privacy

We store only what you give us when you ask for a report. We do not collect salary, phone number or employer name.

What we store, and why

• Your email address. To send you the report and the confirm and delete links.
• Your job title. The one of our 50 jobs you picked, to build your report.
• Your industry (optional). Only if you picked one on the home page. It never changes a number.
• Your work mix. Which kinds of work you kept on, to build your report.
• Your consent to receive the report. Proof that you agreed to get the report by email.
• When you gave consent. The date and time of that consent.
• Your choice about course emails. Whether you ticked the box asking for upskilling and course ideas. It is off unless you tick it.
• A salted hash of your IP address. Used only to stop one person sending floods of requests. We never keep the IP address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
• When you made the request. To apply the limits below and to know when to delete the row.
• How many times we tried to send the email. To stop repeated sending.
• When the report email was sent. To apply the sending limits.
• When you clicked the confirm link. Course emails go only to people who ticked the box and clicked this link.
• When you asked for deletion. To record that you asked.

The confirm and delete links in your email each carry a random code, so only the email holder can use them.

Course emails

Course and upskilling emails are a separate choice, off by default. You join that list only if you ticked the box and clicked the confirm link in your report email. You can delete everything at any time.

How long we keep it

A profile is deleted 24 months after it was created, or straight away if you ask.

Delete everything stored for your email

Enter your email address and we will send a link that deletes every profile stored for it. You will see the same message whether or not we hold your address.
